It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Allan Walter Sims of Edson, Alberta on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at the age of 84. Allan was born on August 3, 1937, in Pucklechurch, United Kingdom, to Lena and Ivor Sims. Allan is survived by two sister-in-laws, Lucille Sims and Angela Kushner., as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Allan was pre-deceased by wife Rita of 18 years, sisters Winifred and Kathleen, brothers Roy, Trevor and Gordon.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm on April 30, 2022, at the Foothills Memorial Chapel in Edson, Alberta.
An interment will take place in the Breton cemetery at later date.
