Allan Victor Shelton

   It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Allan (Bud) Shelton, at the ripened age of 86.

On Aug27/2021, Bud was granted his wish of passing away at his home by Peers, Alta.

Born in the family home in Onoway, AB. Nov23/1934 to Victor & Irene Shelton, Bud grew up on the family farm near Peers, AB. but did travel for work where he met and married Iris Dean on Sept 01/1955.

They lived in Entwistle for the first few years, eventually moving to Peers and purchasing the farm where they currently reside. Bud had many ventures and adventures in his life, from heavy equipment operator, logging, and of course his passion for farming and ranching. Bud and Iris also enjoyed their many hobbies, dancing, camping, hunting and fishing. Also, they loved attending the CFR & NFR for more than 20 years and later in life enjoying their grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Bud will be sadly missed and is survived by his wife of 66 years (as of Sept01/2021) Iris Irene (nee: Dean) Shelton, daughter: Darla, son: Randy, son: Tyran (Janice), grandchildren: Todd (Kassie), Burke (Shelby), Matthew, Addison (Cassidy), Cara, Jolene (Tyler), Cori (Chris), Tyler (Melissa), great grandchildren: Vander, Lillian, Emily, Edwin, Drew, Travis, Evelyn and Gabriel, sister: Betty, brothers: Vic (Georgina), John (Elaine), Jim (Barb) and Ralph (Pat),as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Allan was predeceased by his sisters: Irene and Jean, brother: Tom and daughter-in-law Carolyn (Randy).

Due to COVID there will not be a service at the time.

Bud has gone to the field.

At this time the family requests no flowers be send, as well as no donations in Allan's name be made.
