Agnes Christine (Strembicke) McAllister

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Agnes Christine McAllister.

Agnes was predeceased by her husband Joe McAllister, brothers Florian and Adolphe Strembicke and sister in-law Inga.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Aaron and Regan McAllister, daughter in-law Terri McAllister and grandkids Matthew, Myana and Jeremy McAllister, her niece and caregiver Joy Wray, her brothers Fernie (Bert) Strembicke, sister in-law Grace Strembicke, Henry (Linda) Strembicke and Ray (Chris) Strembicke.

Agnes graduated from Edmonton University and was a pharmacist in Hinton for many years. She adored her 3 grandchildren and was so proud of them. She loved sports such as football, soccer, golf and curling and received many awards for showing her german shepherd dogs.

Our sincere thanks to Dr. Leigh Beamish, homecare staff and palliative care team as well the Hinton Hospital medical and nursing staff, all the staff at the Hinton Occupational Center and the Neighbourlink Society. Also, to our neighbors, Ron and Muriel Whyte, Jim and Nancy Knivel, a very special thank you.

Donations can be made to the Hinton SPCA.

A private Memorial Service will be held.
