1924 – 2018

Mrs. Violet Beatrice Dauble a long time resident of the Edson area passed away in Edson on April 1, 2018 at the age of 93 years. Violet was born December 8, 1924 in Edmonton, Alberta. She soon moved to the Edson area which she called home until her passing. Violet loved the farm and the life that went along with it. She loved the animals, the fresh air, gardening and picking berries which she was actively still doing just last summer. A huge part of Violet’s life was the love for her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Violet was survived by her daughter Cindy (Al) MacMurchy, her two grandsons James MacMurchy and Wade MacMurchy. As requested by Violet, no formal funeral will take place at this time. As an expression of sympathy and in loving memory of Violet, memorial contributions may be made to the S.P.C.A. in care of Foothills Memorial Chapel-Edson Funeral Home P.O.
