Thalia Lucile Camarta (nee Tomlinson)

January 4, 1921 – June 21, 2019

Thalia Lucile Camarta (nee Tomlinson) passed away peacefully in Edson, Alberta on June 21, 2019 at the age of 98 years.

She was predeceased by her parents, pioneers Charles (Hank) and Florence Tomlinson; brother Henry; sister Eunice; and daughter Bonny Lynn.

She will be forever cherished by daughter Pat (Wayne); son Bill (Bruna); son Ron (Laureen); and son-in-law James (Marlene). Thalia is also survived by grandchildren Crystal (Rob), Craig (Jill), Shawn (Lisa), Brett (Chantal), Stacey (Thor), Meranda (Liam), Austin, Brennan (Julie), and Taylor; as well as their families, many extended family members and friends.

Thalia was born in McLeod Valley where she spent almost all of her life. She loved gardening and beautiful flowers, she loved the farm and community activities in Peers.

She was a resident of Edson Parkland Lodge for the past eleven years and the family wishes to express sincere appreciation for the care she received there.

A Funeral Service will take place at 2:00pm on Friday, June 28, 2019 at the PEERS MULTIPLEX, 5114 – 51 Street, Peers, AB with Reverend Les Halliwell, officiating.
