John Donald Huber

   It is with great sadness we announce the passing of John Huber on October 6 of 2019, surrounded by his family.  John was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Beatrice Huber, siblings Adam, Amelia, Julia, Joseph, Mary, Olga, Joanne and Albert. John is survived by his wife of 67 years Gladys Ruth Huber; six children and their loving spouses Clifford (Carol), Marvin (Debi), Donald (Linda), Kim (Alex), Shelley (Calvin), Dianne (Marc); brother Gottfred (Muriel) Huber and sister Emily Wagner; grandchildren Nicole (Scott), Aaron (Julie), Tracey, Brandon, Elise (Dennis), Dean, Christina (Skye), Earl, Shilo, Cheyanne, Ryan (Chelsey), Lindsay (Amrit), Richelle (Sabah), Cory, Alex and 11 great grandchildren, with another on the way. John was born on the family farm near Lefleche, Saskatchewan; moved around with work until he settled in Entrance/Hinton in 1956. John was employed in the Hinton pulp mill for 35 years. He loved the outdoors, fishing, quadding, hiking, camping and dancing, but his family was his greatest joy.
For all those who wish to attend John Huber’s Memorial Service, you are welcome to join the family on Saturday, October 19th, 2019 at 1:00pm at the United Church, 101 Muskuta Avenue, Hinton, AB.
