Irene (Janke) Seefried

Irene Seefried passed away peacefully early Thursday, September 7, 2017 with daughter Linda by her side.  She left to join husband Albert Seefried, her parents Lydia & Jacob Janke, sister Christina Kelm, brothers Art Janke, Rueben Janke, Emilie Janke, sister-In-laws Fran Janke, Annie Janke, Adeline Janke.

Left to Cherish her memories are her son Norman (Gail) Seefried, daughter Linda (Dave) Nielsen, son Robert (Lawrie) Seefried; Granddaughters: Elissa (Sean) Taylor, Christina, Heather & Rebecca Seefried; Melanie (Mark) Altwasser, Kirsten (Steve) Hutchison, Megan (Riley) Schuett; Katie & Amy Seefried. Greatgrandchildren: Kael & Karsen Taylor, Cole, Brooke & Adley Altwasser, Kayleigh, Tristan & Declyn Hutchison, Aspen & Bryer Schuett.  Brothers, Jack Janke, Alfred & (Freda) Janke, Sister in Law Evelyn Janke, Brother in Law Clarence Seefried   As well, numerous nephews, nieces and extended families and friends will hold her memories close to their hearts.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, Sept 11, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Fulham Hall, north of Peers on Highway 32.

A time of viewing and visitation will be held on Sunday, Sept 10, 2017 at the Edson Funeral Home, 5040 – 6 Avenue, Edson at 7:00 pm and on Monday, Sept 11 from 10:00 to 10:30 am prior to the service at the Fulham Hall.

As an expression of sympathy and in loving memory of Irene, memorial donations may be made to the Macleod Valley Cemetery or to a charity of one’s choice.
