Gordon Frederick Mullin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gordon Frederick Mullin on December 16, 2019 at the age of 65.

There was a private ceremony at the Edson Glenwood Cemetery where Gordon was laid to rest on December 23, 2019. Pastor David Fisher from the Christian Fellowship Church in Spruce Grove was there to oversee the small service.

Gordon is survived by his loving wife Cherielyn; daughters, Cari (Joe) Hemphill, Caitlyn Mullin (Vaughn Abbott) and Christa Mullin; granddaughter Mya Mullin; sister Betty Rae Mutch; brother Terrence Mullin; brother-in-law Timothy Mutch; sister-in-law Yvonne Teichroeb; brother-in-law Jake Teichroeb; aunt and uncle, Bonnie and Henry Holmes; nephews, Michael (Malissa) Teichroeb, Troy (Mallory) Mullin, Trent (Tory) Mutch; nieces, Melanie (Solomon) Sands, Tosha (Jeff) Williamson; great-nephews: Jayden Teichroeb, Isaiah Sands, Thorton Mullin, Nole Williamson, Simon Williamson; great-nieces: Lucy Mullin, Emily Williamson, Brynley Mutch, Bryar Mutch, Brystol Mutch; cousins: Matthew (Rhonda), Alex, Rebecca, Robert, Mark (Miranda) as well as many other extended family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, Elizabeth and Raymond; and cousin Michael.

Gordon was loved by many and will be sadly missed by everyone.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 20, 2020 at Christian Fellowship United Church, 445 King Street, Spruce Grove. A live feed of the service may be accessed at: www.inchrist.ca and by clicking the Live Stream link.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to all the wonderful doctors and nurses at the Cross Cancer Institute and Westview Hospital. You have all showed such kindness and support during the time Gordon has spent with you all. Words cannot express how much we appreciate everything you did for him.

In lieu of flowers, Gordon had one little granddaughter Mya. If you would like to make a donation, we have set up a trust fund for her. Further information is available by contacting christamullin@live.ca. You may also donate to any of your favourite charities in Gordon’s honour.

Thank you for all you love, support, kindness and prayers through our family’s difficult time. We can’t thank you enough.
