It is with sadness and gentle relief that the family announces the passing of Margaret McCallister February 15, 2019 at the age of 92. Margaret had been a resident of the Good Samaritan Care Centre in Stony Plain since December 2014, previously of Edson and Hattonford.
Margaret was a devoted wife and a loving mom. She adored her grandchildren and gave much love to all.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Norman, daughter Marie Sim, three grandchildren, John (Stacey) Lawton, Tammy Lawton, Tracy Lawton, ten great grandchildren, (Janelle, Levi, and Jayden Lawton, Brooklyn and Sydney Beaudry, Chad Lawton, Caitlin, Sarah, and Rebecca Clark), and great great granddaughter Dianne McCready-Lawton.
Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Harvey and Eva Setzer, first husband John Sim; brothers John and Pete Setzer, and grandson Joseph.
Funeral service will be held Friday, February 22 at 2:00 p.m. at the Beaver Meadow Hall, Niton Junction, Alberta.
