March 28, 1947 ~ May 18, 2018

It is with extreme sadness that on May 18, 2018 we said goodbye to not only a wife, a mother, a sister, an aunt, a grandmother, a great-grandmother and a friend ~ Eileen J. McCune at the age of 71 years.

Left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory is her daughter Corinna (Jim Maslen); son Steven (Karin) McCune and their children Katiana and Taanika; stepson Gary (Kathy) McCune and their children Evan McCune (Sam), Katie McCune (Curtis Oath) and their children Tayah and Colby; step-daughter April Kynoch and son Kolton. Also left to mourn is her sisters Marlene (Gordon) Lamb, Joyce Matheson and their families; along with numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

Eileen was predeceased by her parents John Aase Johnson & Emma Heresvelle (Johnson); brother-in-law Don Matheson; as well as her long lost love and husband Wayne D. McCune (two puppies Teddy and Bear)

Following cremation, no service will be held at her request.

As an expression of sympathy and in loving memory of Eileen, memorial contributions can be made to EARS Animal Rescue in care of Foothills Memorial Chapel – Edson Funeral Home P.O Box 6358 Edson, Alberta T7E 1T8 or can be made in person at our office located at 5040 6th Ave. Edson, Alberta.
