Douglas Dwain Pettifer

1942-2018

Mr. Douglas Dwain Pettifer passed away in Edson, Alberta on July 1, 2018 at the age of 76 years. 

Doug is survived by his loving wife and best friend Sherry Pettifer, his brother Ken Pettifer (Margaret) of Lethbridge, Alberta and by his sister Carol Camp of Evansburg, Alberta as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many very dear friends.  He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Mary Pettifer, sister Joyce and two brothers Bob and Don. 

As requested by Doug, no formal funeral service will be held.  Doug’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Smith and all of the staff of the Edson Hospital for all their kindness and care shown not only to Doug but to all of us as well.  Thank you once again, and God Bless. 

As an expression of sympathy and in loving memory of Doug, memorial contributions may be made to the Hinton SPCA or to any local Animal Charity of your choice in care of Foothills Memorial Chapel-Edson Funeral Home P.O.
