Mrs. Doris Straub of Edson, beloved wife of the late Arthur Straub, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2019 at the age of 93 years.

Doris was born January 15, 1926 in Magrath, Alberta. She lived on Vancouver Island as well as Yates & Brule, Alberta where she was a camp cook. Doris moved to Edson permanently in 1959. She enjoyed playing cards, watching curling and baseball, especially her Blue Jays.

Doris loved people – she will be sorely missed by family and friends.

Doris will be lovingly remembered by her son Rod (Marlene) Straub; grandchildren Carmen Straub and Nolan Straub (Francine Roberge); great-grandchildren Turner, Conor, Noah, Lily, and Ruby.

Doris was predeceased by her loving husband Arthur; and her brother (Carl Isakson).

Cremation has been entrusted to Foothills Memorial Chapel - Edson Funeral Home.
