Dawn Dianne Giesbrecht

With a sense of things-still-not-done, we sadly announce the death of Dawn Dianne Giesbrecht.

Born in Edson Alberta on Aug 9, 1954, Dawn was married on February 19,1972, she had two sons before tragically losing her husband… After this…  she lived throughout Alberta and BC, working in a variety of jobs and raising her sons Cody and Clint. 

The last several years she had returned to Edson where she was close to those she loved. 

She slipped from this life at the home that she shared with her soulmate, Jared. With this man, in this home, she had found acceptance, and a shared sense of humor that brought her the happiness that often eluded her.  

Dawn would never have wanted to be defined or remembered by the challenges of her life. Instead, she is easily remembered for her willingness to help others, and her value of the simple things in life. 

A ceremony to remember Dawn will be held Wednesday November 6th, 2019, 11:00 am at the Edson Baptist Church.
