It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of David Dick. David passed peacefully in his home in Edson, Alberta.
Originally from Central Blissville New Brunswick, David and his family moved to Shaunavon Saskatchewan where he raised his family for 8 years. He would once again move and settle in Edson where he opened the family owned and operated shop D&A Automotive. D&A was both a mechanic shop and a place of love and laughter; a gathering place for friends.
David is survived by his loving wife, Arlene Dick and their children Kevin Dick and Angie Radcliffe. As well as Angie’s children Jeremy Radcliffe (Jessica Gill), Jami Larson (Bradley Larson), and Jesse Radcliffe (Alex Rose). He was also incredibly blessed to be survived by his great-grandchildren Olivia and Jude Larson, who loved him unconditionally. He was also survived by his three sisters Bessie Baker (Wayne Baker), Margaret O’Leary (Blaine O’Leary), and Jean Russel (Wayne Russel) as well as a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother and father Dorothy and Charles Dick.
The family has chosen to hold a celebration of life at the Edson Masonic Lodge (4725 9th avenue) ,of which David was a proud member,
on Monday October 21st. at 1:00 PM
David would urge us all to vote in the federal election before or after attending his service and make our voices heard.
