Darryl John Shepherd
February 4 1959 – November 5 2019
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Darryl Shepherd who passed away suddenly on November 5 2019. Darryl was born on February 4 1959 in Red Deer AB. He was the middle sibling and is survived by two sisters, Debra Olafson (Larry) of Armena AB and Joanne Topilka of Whitecourt AB. He is also survived by nieces and nephews Tyler, Chad (Camille), Clayton (Kari) and Carly; Jessica and Taylor and 4 great nieces and a great nephew. Darryl was predeceased by his parents Margaret and Harvey Shepherd. He will be missed by his loving family. The family wishes to thank Brian and Dianne Bertelsen who took time with Darryl during his last months and who gave him unconditional love. There will be no formal service; cremation has occurred and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
His weary hours and days of pain,
His troubled nights are past.
And in our aching hearts we know
He has found sweet rest at last.
