Clement ‘Clem’ Trepanier
November 25, 1935 - August 30, 2018
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Clem Trepanier on August 30, 2018 at the age of 82 years.
Clem is survived by Bernice, children Karen Anderson, Randy (Li) Trepanier, Kristine Trepanier and Renée Trepanier. Grandpa (Pépé) to Cory Bilodeau, Andrea (Dustin) Sommerfeld, Brandon Schulmeister, Natascha Schulmeister and Austin Trepanier and great-grandchildren Emma, Benter and Jaxon Sommerfeld.
He was predeceased by parents Edward Trepanier and Laurentia Bellemore Trepanier, brothers Raymond and Victor, sisters Margerite, Alice and Rachel and son Ronald Trepanier. Surviving siblings are Eugene, Corinne Soboccan and Andre.
He was a wonderful father and Pépé who had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and regale us with wonderful stories. He enjoyed taking his children and grand-children fishing, hunting or to play at the park. He always had time to help family or friends in need.
For the last 20 years Clem battled with skin cancer and ten years with Alzheimer's. Memorial donations in loving memory of Clem may be made to the Alzheimer Society (High Park Corner, 308, 14925 – 111 Ave. N.W. Edmonton, AB T5M 2P6) or to the Alberta Cancer Foundation (710, 10123-99 St, Edmonton, AB T5J 3H1).
A private memorial service and Celebration of Life was held on September 22, 2018 and he was laid to rest with his son, Ron Trepanier.
