1931-2017

Mr. William “Bill “ Taylor of Edson, Alberta passed away on September 11, 2017 at the age of 85 Years.  Bill is survived by his children Richard Taylor of Edson, Gwen Shaw of Edmonton, Thomas Taylor of Sherwood Park, Jean (Doug) Petersen of Edson, Jeff (Michelle) Taylor of Sherwood Park and Wendy (Dave) Lindop also of Sherwood Park. Grandchildren; Lance (Jennifer), Candace (Blair), Amanda (Sal), Cole (Sirrea), Jennifer (Curtis), Danielle (Luke), Justin (Nicole), Nathan (Chelsey) and Christopher (Leah); 23 great-grandchildren and by 2 great-great-grandchildren.  Bill is also survived by his sisters Jessie Wrobel and Bettie Sloan as well as many other relatives and dear friends.  He was predeceased by his loving wife Jean on June 21, 2004, older sister Phillis Hofferd and by his daughter-in-law Judy. 

Funeral Mass will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Edson, Alberta on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. with Father Varghese Munduvelil as Celebrant. 

As an expression of sympathy and in loving memory of Bill, memorial contributions may be made to the Robin Hood Association – 141 Broadway Blvd. Sherwood Park, Alberta T8H 2A4.
