ROBERT GARRY SALT

June 11, 1943 – September 29, 2017

Robert (Bob) Salt, 74, of Hinton Alberta, passed away peacefully with his wife and son at his side. Bob was a loving husband to Elsie (nee Borysko) for 50 years, and a father to daughter Tracy (d. June 1999) and to son Rick. In addition to his favoured roles as husband and father, he was loved and cherished as an uncle to many nieces and nephews, and a grandfather to his only grandson, Donuil, son of Rick and Kathleen Salt, and as a dear friend and comrade to many.

Bob was predeceased by his father Edgar and mother Verna, his brother Bill and his daughter Tracy. Though he leaves many behind, he joins them and many others now at God's banquet table.

A celebration of life will be held on October 21^st at 1pm at the Hinton Royal Canadian Legion, downstairs. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bob's honour to the University Hospital Foundation, c/o the Mazenkowski Heart Institute.
