Robert Alex Hayman

Robert "Bob" Hayman, a long time resident of Edson Alberta passed away peacefully on September 23, 2017 at the age of 84. Bob was born Oct 15/1932 in Galloway Alberta. He was the oldest of seven children. His family moved to Marlboro where he met his wife and worked in the sawmill & logging industry. Years later he was owner/operator of a gravel truck until his retirement. Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife June, his five children, Jerry, Larry, Linda (Curt) Rowland, Jackie (Blake) Watt, and Bucky. His six grandchildren, Nicole (Zach) Morris, Jenn (Brent) Purchase, Crystel, Zachary, Mitchell, Cole. His three great grandchildren, Maggie, Kayden, Caleb and brothers, Malcolm (Rita) Hayman, and Boxer Hayman. As well, numerous nephews, nieces, extended families & friends.

Bob was predeceased by his son, Billy, his parents Mac & Sophie, and siblings, Isabel, Milton, George, and Francis. Bob will always be remembered for his love of his grandchildren & great grandchildren. His many adventures travelling to Saskatchewan, Northwest Territories, Yukon and British Columbia especially Salt Spring Island where his extended family Roberta, Peter, Kyler & Travis live. And his hobby riding his quad, picking bottles.

The family would like to thank Dr. White for his years of care Bob received. Also Dr. L. Wannenburg & the nurses at the Edson hospital. We would like to express our appreciation to the staff at the Edson Continuing Care for their commitment in providing Bob the best possible care.
