June 3, 1964 – March 19, 2018

Mr. Damon Allen Dubray passed away in Edson, Alberta on March 19, 2018 at the age of 53 years.

Damon was born in Edmonton, Alberta on June 3, 1964 to his parents Gail Francis Dubray and Norman Robert Dubray. He is survived by his parents Gail Vankosky (Gerald) and Norman Dubray; son Delain (Stayce) and his mother Laurie; step children Annalise (Mike), Meghan (Jeff), Mark (Becky) their mother, and his dear friend Beverley, along with Aunts Colleen Bodenchuk, Marion Berglund, Kathy (Arnold) Simmons & Uncle John Jacobson, Aunts Norma Buird,Pauline (Glen) Buchta, Willie (Colleen) Dubray, Lawrence (Lena) Dubray, Brent (Sheryl) Dubray and numerous cousins.

Damon was predeceased by his Grandparents John and Mary Jacobson, Aunt Karen Schmidek; Grandparents Ernest and Lorna Dubray, Uncle Paul Dubray and 1st cousins, Raymond Berglund, Roxanne Jacobson, Danny, Billy and Randy Bodenchuk.

Damon was a phenomenal woodworker, had a passion for cycling, fishing and was full of great love and compassion for animals; especially dogs. Damon spent 23 years working at the Sundance Forest Products Sawmill, and most recently driving a pressure truck for JaCat Pressure Truck Services.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Edson Royal Canadian Legion on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 1:00 P.M.

As an expression of sympathy and in loving memory of Damon, memorial contributions can be made to the Alberta Diabetes Foundation or to The Alberta Society For The Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals in care of Foothills Memorial Chapel - Edson Funeral Home - Box 6358 Edson, Alberta T7E 1T8 or can be made in person at our office located at 5040 6 Ave. Edson, Alberta.
